Dr. Joseph Geissler is a Senior Biomechanist at ARCCA. His academic background and training in biomedical engineering, physics, anatomy, and physiology, combined with his experience in crashworthiness, serve as the cornerstone for his specialization in accident reconstruction and biomechanical injury causation analyses. Dr. Geissler utilizes these skills to quantify the severity and impact mechanics of vehicular collisions, slips, trips, falls, and other loading scenarios to evaluate the human kinematic responses to these events while also investigating potential injury mechanisms and associated injury tolerances.
Dr. Geissler is a member of the Society of Automobile Engineers, the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine, and the American Society of Biomechanics.
