Dr. Fijalkowski is a Senior Biomechanist specializing in the study of the forces and mechanics associated with human injury. HeĀ applies this work to all segments of the human body involved in collisions and other impact-producing events.

While at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Fijalkowski was heavily involved in the study of what types of impacts and forces can cause serious brain injury.

Dr. Fijalkowski has also worked with the National Hockey League to research, develop and test designs to improve player safety and with the U.S. Army to evaluate prevention protocols for bodily injury due to blast.
