Mr. Probst is a biomechanist specializing in the study of the forces and mechanics associated with human injury.  He applies this work to all segments of the human body involved in collisions and other impact-producing events.

Mr. Probst has designed, developed, and tested kinematic models of the human cervical spine and head, as well as seating and restraint systems. His testing and research has been performed with both anthropomorphic test devices and human subjects.

While at Tulane University, Mr. Probst studied soft tissue injuries and dynamic loading experienced by the neck.

Mr. Probst has worked with the National Hockey League to research, develop and test designs to improve player safety.
