Vehicle Data for Toyota And Lexus Accident Investigations
Did you know that ARCCA’s accident reconstructionists are able to access advanced vehicle data from Toyota and Lexus models? Toyota Vehicle Control History (VCH) is an exciting new category of vehicle data which includes recorded events from a wide variety of non-collision dependent triggers. VCH data is imaged from vehicles using Toyota Techstream software. This new tool allows for ARCCA’s experts to access data relating to vehicle behavior from a larger number of collisions where traditional EDRs may not record an event. Toyota VCH data can contain vehicle speeds, information relating to the behavior of various ADAS systems including the date/time of an event, and can even include photographs from the vehicle’s forward-facing camera.
Toyota Vehicle Control History is part of a growing trend of new and exciting methods of accessing advanced data from a variety of vehicle manufacturers.
