Ms. Shultz is a Biomechanist specializing in the study of the forces and mechanics associated with injuries to the human body. She applies this work to all segments of the human body involved in collisions and other impact-producing events.
While at Drexel University, Ms. Shultz was involved in research programs, in conjunction with Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine, related to the development of an improved marker system to characterize and evaluate foot and ankle kinematics. She also has experience in the research and development of a bone substitute material.
Ms. Shultz is part of the team working with the National Hockey League to research, develop and test designs to improve player safety.
