Ms. Landes is a Biomechanist who specializes in applying biomechanical and kinematic principles to perform individual injury analysis. She has experience in conducting research involving human volunteers and anthropomorphic test devices to understand relationships between kinematics responses to an event, associated forces, injury mechanisms, and human tolerance.
Ms. Landes received a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering with an Engineering Devices Concentration from Temple University. She went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Temple University. Her scientific research has focused on optical system development for biomechanical applications; specifically, an optogenetic microscope attachment for molecular motor analysis. This included the design and production of 3D printed alignment and attachment components. Her coursework specialized in the applications of kinematics and kinetics across platforms, including robotics and human biomechanics through signal processing and computer programming.
